Learn how to configure StableBit Cloud Drive for use with Filebase.

What is StableBit Cloud Drive?

StableBit Cloud Drive is a secure virtual hard drive application for Windows operating systems.

Read below to learn how to use StableBit Cloud Drive with Filebase.

Prerequisites:

1. Launch the StableBit Cloud Drive application. Select ‘Connect’ next to Amazon S3.

2. Enter the following configuration details to connect to Filebase:

  • Connection Name: Filebase

  • Access Key: Filebase Access Key

  • Secret Access Key: Filebase Secret Access Key

  • Select ‘Use Amazon S3 compatible third party service’

  • Region: us-east-1

Then select ‘Save’.

3. Your Filebase connection will now be listed under the ‘Amazon S3’ heading.

This connection will create a new bucket on your Filebase account. Select ‘Create’ next to Filebase.

4. Configure the desired settings for your Filebase local drive, then select ‘Create’.

5. Your drive configuration will be confirmed with the following window:

6. Your Filebase locally mounted cloud drive will be given a local drive number.

7. Navigate to the cloud drive using your local environment’s file explorer.

8. Drag and drop files to be uploaded to Filebase into this cloud drive.

9. Navigate to the Filebase web console dashboard, then select the StableBit Cloud Drive bucket that was created automatically.

The data uploaded will be reflected in the bucket.
