How to configure NextCloud for use with Filebase.
What is NextCloud?
NextCloud is an open source software suite for using and creating file hosting services.
NextCloud is certified for use with Filebase. To use NextCloud with Filebase, you will need to configure the External Storage app on your NextCloud server.
1. To add the External Storage app to your NextCloud server, start by logging into the NextCloud admin interface.
Select your admin profile and click ‘Apps’.
2. Scroll down to the External Storage app and enable it.
3. From the Dashboard, on the left scroll down to ‘Administration’ and select ‘External Storage’
4. Use the following settings to configure Filebase as an external storage endpoint for NextCloud.
Folder Name: Desired Folder Name for Filebase
External Storage: Type: Amazon S3
Authentication: Access Key
Bucket: Filebase Bucket Name
URL: s3.filebase.com
Region: us-east-1
Enable SSL
Access Key: Filebase Access Key
Secret Key: Filebase Secret Key
Do not enable Legacy V2 authentication. Filebase does not support V2 authentication.
