RaiDrive

Learn how to configure RaiDrive for use with Filebase.

What is RaiDrive?

RaiDrive allows you to mount any cloud storage or NAS device on your local system as a drive. From there, you can use your mounted storage just as you would use any other directory or drive on your computer.
Read below to learn how to use RaiDrive with Filebase.

Prerequisites:

  • Sign up for a free Filebase account.
  • Have your Filebase Access and Secret Keys. Learn how to view your access keys here.
  • Create a Filebase Bucket. Learn how to create a bucket here.

1. Open RaiDrive. Select ‘Add’ from the top bar menu.

2. In the Storage selection, select the ‘Enterprise’ tab, then select ‘AWS S3 Compatible’.

Select a drive letter and enter a description for the drive. The default settings is the Z: drive with the description AWS S3 Compatible.
Configure the following information to connect to Filebase:
  • Access Key ID: Filebase Access Key
  • Secret Access Key: Filebase Secret Key
  • Bucket: Filebase Bucket Name
Then select ‘Connect’.

3. A File Explorer window will pop up showing your Filebase bucket contents.

You can now use your Filebase bucket as a mounted storage drive on your computer.
