Learn how to configure MASV for use with Filebase.

What is MASV?

MASV is a fast and reliable web-based tool used to transfer large video files.

Read below to learn how to use MASV with Filebase.

Prerequisites:

1. Login to the MASV web dashboard. Select ‘Cloud Connect’ from the left side-bar menu.

2. Select ‘Other S3’.

3. Configure the following settings to connect to Filebase:

  • Connection Name: Filebase

  • Bucket: Filebase Bucket Name

  • Access Key ID: Filebase Access Key

  • Secret Access Key: Filebase Secret Key

  • Endpoint: s3.filebase.com

  • Region: us-east-1

  • Select ‘Force S3 path style’

Then select ‘Connect’.

4. Next, select 'Portals' from the left side-bar menu and create a new MASV portal by providing a name, domain, and additional information such as email recipients or tags.

Then select 'Next'.

5. Give your portal a logo, image, and accent color, then select 'Next'.

6. Next, under the Cloud Connect options, select your Filebase configuration and toggle the connection on using the 'Status' toggle icon.

Then select 'Create' to create your portal.

7. Your MASV portal connected to Filebase will now be listed.

8. Navigate to your MASV portal domain in a new browser tab.

9. Upload a folder or file using this MASV portal.

10. Once uploaded, it will be visible in your configured Filebase bucket in the Portal Downloads folder.
