How To Use FileBrowser to Upload Files to Filebase from iPad, iPhone or macOS X.

What is FileBrowserGO?

FileBrowserGO is an app for macOS X and iPhone/iPad that allows you to upload and manage files from these devices directly to your Filebase account.

Prerequisites:

  • Download either the macOS X app or the iPhone/iPad app FileBrowserGO.
  • Sign up for a free Filebase account.
  • Have your Filebase Access and Secret Keys. Learn how to view your access keys here.
  • Create a Filebase Bucket. Learn how to create a bucket here.

macOS X

1. Open the FileBrowserGO app. Tap ‘Add Location’ or the ‘+’ icon in the bottom right corner.

2. Select ‘Filebase’ from the list of connections.

3. Enter your Filebase credentials into the setup wizard to continue:

  • Key: Filebase Access Key
  • Secret: Filebase Secret Key.
  • Display Name: You may change this to a name of your choice.

4. Once finished, tap ‘Save’. Then tap the Filebase icon on the homepage to access all your Filebase buckets and objects!

iPhone / iPad iOS

1. Open the FileBrowserGO app. From the homepage, under the ‘Remote’ section, select ‘Add Location’.

2. Scroll down and select ‘Filebase S3’:

3. Enter the following configuration information:

  • Key: Filebase Access Key
  • Secret: Filebase Secret Key
API URL and Display Name will be automatically configured for you. Select ‘Save’.

4. Then to access your Filebase buckets and objects, select ‘Filebase S3’ from the app’s homepage.
