CrossFTP

Learn how to configure CrossFTP for use with Filebase.

What is CrossFTP?

CrossFTP is a free FTP, SFTP, S3, and Google Storage client for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux operating systems. CrossFTP allows you to transfer files between connections, or upload files to cloud storage with a simple, lightweight interface.
Read below to learn how to use CrossFTP with Filebase.

Prerequisites:

  • Sign up for a free Filebase account.
  • Have your Filebase Access and Secret Keys. Learn how to view your access keys here.
  • Create a Filebase Bucket. Learn how to create a bucket here.

1. Launch CrossFTP. Select the New Connection icon on the right-side window’s navigation bar.

2. Configure the following settings to connect to Filebase:

  • Protocol: S3/HTTPS
  • Label: Filebase
  • Port: 443
  • Access Key: Filebase Access Key
  • Secret: Filebase Secret Key
Then select ‘Connect’ to connect to Filebase with these settings.

3. Your Filebase buckets and their contents will be listed on the right side of the window.
