Learn how to use CloudFlyer with Filebase.

What is CloudFlyer?

CloudFlyer is a data migration tool that allows you to migrate or replicate data between multiple cloud providers utilizing speeds up to 100G. CloudFlyer scales resources for jobs automatically for fast and efficient data migration. Data is validated and verified using advanced AI tools to make sure that data isn’t left behind.

Filebase is natively integrated with CloudFlyer. Read below to learn more about how to use CloudFlyer with Filebase to begin replicating or migrating data to or from Filebase.

Prerequisites:

Configuration

1. Login to your CloudFlyer account.

2. Start by setting up Filebase by selecting ‘Filebase’ under ‘Set Up a New Cloud Provider’.

3. Next, enter your Filebase Access and Secret key to set up Filebase as a cloud provider.

4. After adding Filebase, the connection will be reflected in your Dashboard under ‘Active Cloud Providers’

Data Replication

1. To replicate data to Filebase, select ‘Replication’ from the top navigation menu bar.

Select the source account and source bucket for the data to be replicated from, then select Filebase and the desired Filebase bucket as the destination account and bucket.

2. Select ‘Confirm Sync’ to submit the replication job.

You can view the transfer status on the bottom of the screen, and see your previous transfer history.

Data Migration

1. To migrate data, select ‘Migration’ from the top navigation menu bar.

Select the source account and source bucket for the data to be migrated from, then select Filebase and the desired Filebase bucket as the destination account and bucket.

2. Drag and drop files from the list of files in the source bucket to the destination bucket.

Once the file is dropped into the destination bucket, the file transfer will start.

3. You can check the status of the transfer by clicking ‘Transfer Status’.

4. You can also copy entire buckets by scrolling to the bottom of the ‘Migration’ page and selecting ‘Copy Entire Buckets’:
