Learn how to configure Cloudsfer for use with Filebase.

What is Cloudsfer?

Cloudsfer is a web-based data migration tool for transferring data between different cloud providers. Cloudsfer supports data migration between Filebase buckets, as well as data migration from other providers such as AWS or Dropbox to Filebase.

Read below to learn how to use Cloudsfer with Filebase.

Prerequisites:

This example migrates data from one Filebase bucket to another. To migrate data from another provider, simply change the source information, and keep the target information the same.

1. Login to the Cloudsfer dashboard.

2. Select ‘S3 Compatible’ for the source and target types.

Configure the following settings to connect to Filebase:

Source:

  • S3 Compatible

  • Region Endpoint URL: https://s3.filebase.com

  • Access Key ID: Filebase Access Key

  • Secret Access Key: Filebase Secret Key

  • Bucket Name: Source bucket

Target:

  • S3 Compatible

  • Region Endpoint URL: https://s3.filebase.com

  • Access Key ID: Filebase Access Key

  • Secret Access Key: Filebase Secret Key

  • Bucket Name: Target bucket

3. Under ‘Finalize’ select ‘Create plan’:
