Learn how to configure CloudBacko for use with Filebase.
What is CloudBacko?
CloudBacko is a backup client for Windows and macOS X systems that enables you to create either file backups or Microsoft 365 backups.
Read below to learn how to use CloudBacko with Filebase.
Prerequisites:

Download and install
CloudBacko
Have your Filebase Access and Secret Keys. Learn how to view your access keys
here

Create a Filebase Bucket. Learn how to create a bucket
here
.
1. Launch the CloudBacko app. From the menu, select ‘Backup Sets’.
2. Select ‘Add’.
3. Select ‘File Backup’ for the backup set type.
4. Select which files and folders you’d like to backup.
5. Configure your backup to be run on a schedule if desired.
6. Under ‘Destination’ select ‘Add’:
7. Configure the following settings to connect to Filebase.
Name:
Filebase
Type:
Single Storage Destination
Backup set type:
Cloud File Backup
Cloud type:
AWS S3 Compatible Cloud Storage
Host:
s3.filebase.com
​
Port:
443
Access Key ID:
Filebase Access Key
Secret Access Key:
Filebase Secret Key
Signature Version:
Signature Version 4
Signature Region:
us-east-1
Bucket Name:
Filebase bucket name
Select ‘Connect with SSL/TLS’
8. Then, select your Filebase destination for your backup set’s destination configuration.
9. Enable encryption on your backup.
10. Take down your encryption key.
11. Then select ‘Backup Now’ to begin your first backup to Filebase.
